Refinery Jax Beach

Restaurant has a great atmosphere on the beach. Claire is the best bartender and server! She is very gifted with her drinks which were all amazing. Food was great. Highly recommend

I went on a quick solo trip for happy hour/ brunch. Everyone was very friendly and my bartender, Claire was AMAZING!!! There is something for everyone on the food menu and the drinks are delicious!!

We were in Jacksonville for a very early appointment the day after Hurricane Helene passed through. We found the Refinery by chance, and we had a great experience. Happy hour runs from 11 to 6. The cocktails were very good. Clare, our bartender made some very good drinks (she knows her way around whiskey and made expert Old Fashions). The happy hour bruschetta and blue crab hush puppies were very good. We ate outside because it was early, but dinner would be upstairs which has a very good view of the ocean above the dune. The main entree menu is on the pricey side ( a number were in the 50 range). This place has its own parking and is adjacent also to beach access parking.

Went here for the first time with my wife. We had a reservation for 6:15 on a Friday evening, but probably could have just showed up. We sat in the “upscale” 2nd floor dining room. Despite the fact that the dining room was about 60% full, it was quiet enough to have a conversation - not many Jacksonville restaurants can claim this. Also, the chairs are incredibly comfortable. I had the short rib, and my wife had the pistachio crusted salmon. Both were delicious, but the star was the bread service appetizer! Will definitely be back here again.

We have been here a few times for date night and have always had a pleasant experience. Love the location! Great views of the ocean and pier. The valet parking is very convenient. The food has been amazing! So flavorful. Our service has been top notch. The value for what you get is really good too..not high priced. Trevor Lawrence the quarterback for the Jaguars was a couple tables over from us this last time which was pretty neat too. There was live music playing downstairs so after dinner we went down there and had a drink and listened to them for awhile. So fun! We will be back! I highly recommend this business .

We had the best service at Refinery for my birthday! Our waitress/bartender Claire was absolutely awesome, she recommended the bruschetta, Brussels and crab hush puppies all were stellar BUT her custom flower bomb drink was out of this world! We will be making this our new spot for the summer with the beach view and great drinks/food!

We have been to this lovely restaurant not once, but twice because it was just incredible. The food itself is absolutely delicious, but also the staff is truly amazing. It was the whole experience for us, absolutely gorgeous restaurant. The first time we came our server Michael had us laughing and smiling the entire time, he was very thorough, efficient, making sure every order was perfect and exactly what we wanted. As well as the wine selection we chose, my husband sampled a wine he wasn’t crazy about and Michael helped him find one that was above satisfactory to his liking. He was just such a peach, fantastic personality and it was very busy that night, so he was bouncing all over the place like a champ putting smiles on everyones face effortlessly. The second time we came we had the pleasure of meeting Hannah . Hannah was an absolute gem, such a sweetheart. Always smiling such a sweet personality and also went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and everything was perfect. She noticed the candle was blown out she went out of her way without us noticing to light the candle “for ambiance” as she said with a great smile. The appetizers and entrees were brought out the same time and she kept apologizing like it was her fault, and kept offering to have them redo it but we were perfectly fine with getting everything at once we were hungry anyway. The fact that she cared so much even when we didn’t mind speaks volumes of how much they care for their diners to have a fantastic experience. I wish we didn’t live so far away because we would definitely come back every other weekend. We love The Refinery and when we come back to town we will be back! The refined menu is upscale romantic dining experience and it is so worth it if you are looking for a nice romantic date, even a first date, definitely anniversary or celebration, or just to grab some good dinner. Thank you Michael & Hannah you guys are truly great and passionate about what you do it shows!

What can I say about Refinery Jax Beach? By the time the idea came to mind to take a picture of the delicious food, there was none left. So all I have left to share is a picture of our empty plates! The food by executive chef Steve is unique, fresh, and clearly made with love and pride. What a treat to get to meet the chef and then experience several of his well thought out creations. The service from Vera, Ed, and Blake made us feel like we were part of their family. The energy, both upstairs and downstairs really contributed to a very special night for us. Can’t wait to come back here again. I wish you guys continued success and that all the right people come and experience what you’ve created.
